We’re excited to announce the launch of our Arabic School — a fun and engaging way for children to learn one of the world’s most beautiful and widely spoken languages! Starting this term, your child can begin an exciting journey into the Arabic language, developing strong reading, writing, and speaking skills in a supportive and joyful environment.
Class Details
Start Date: Saturday, November 8th 2025
Days: Every Sunday during term time.
Time: 9.45 AM – 12.45 PM
Location: Edinburgh Central Mosque
Available Levels
Reception (age 6 – 8 )
Perfect for children with little to no prior knowledge of Arabic.
Students will:
– Learn the Arabic alphabet and correct pronunciation
– Recognize basic words
– Begin forming simple sentences and using common greetings
– Develop confidence through songs, games, and interactive activities
Grade One ( up to age 10 )
Ideal for children who already know the Arabic alphabet and are able to read short words. Students will:
– Build stronger reading skills
– Learn and improve writing skills
– Expand vocabulary on a variety of daily topics
– Develop confidence through songs, games, and interactive activities
Monthly Fee
£45 per child – Fee includes course books and all learning materials and weekly handouts.
